Frequently asked questions

What is a "session"?

A session is a running environment that includes a Claude Code terminal and a live Firefox browser desktop. Sessions are spun up on-demand when you click "New Environment".

What happens when my session times out?

On Free and Basic plans, sessions auto-stop after the timeout period. Any unsaved files in the container are lost. Premium users have persistent workspaces that survive restarts.

Can I use Playwright to automate the browser?

Yes — the live Firefox desktop is powered by Neko + GStreamer WebRTC. Basic and Premium users get full Playwright control. Free users get a viewer-only stream.

How does self-hosting work?

You can run vcode.live on your own VPS, Kubernetes cluster, or AWS/GCP/Azure. See the self-hosted docs for a one-command deploy.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Need enterprise or self-hosted?

Deploy vcode.live on your own infrastructure. Full isolation, no data leaving your environment. Runs on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or any VPS.
